Queenstown Airport will move another step closer to night flights, when work on a $17million runway and lighting upgrade begins this week. Expected to be completed by early April next year, the project will widen a resurfaced runway from 30m to 45m and new lighting will be installed for the runway, taxiway, apron and approach.
